Hi, I’m Chloe Kelley, founder of Maternal Moments—and I’m here to tell you all about Maternal Moments.
In 2020, giving birth during a pandemic and facing medical procedures without consent, I felt unprepared and alone, despite hiring a doula. That experience was eye-opening and painful, and it motivated me to become a certified doula in 2021. My goal was to provide compassionate, respectful, and empowering support to other families navigating pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. I wanted every family to feel heard, supported, and confident during one of life's most profound experiences.
After a few years of experience in the field, I began to realize that much was still missing in the birth community: meaningful connection, mentorship, and a sense of belonging. These elements are vital not just for families, but also for doulas themselves. That realization led me to create what would become Maternal Moments—a space where personalized support, education, and community are at the heart of everything we do.

I envisioned a team built on trust, compassion, and shared purpose—where every parent and professional feels genuinely supported.
Today, Maternal Moments is a dedicated team of passionate birth doulas serving families across Arkansas and beyond. We offer a wide range of services, including Birth Doula support, Postpartum Support, Childbirth Education Classes, Lactation Education, Pediatric Sleep Consultations, Placenta Encapsulation, and Childbirth Education. My second birth actually brings me to doula work. I was joined by birth workers who surrounded me with intentionality, comfort, and safety. My son presented OP (face up) with shoulder dystocia, and still, I felt confident and unafraid in my birth experience. He was delivered safely and without any injury. How supported I felt and held in encouragement in every moment is what brings me here to walk alongside you.
I believe pregnancy, labor, and birth are sacred, beautiful, raw, hard, and the thinnest veil between heaven and earth.
